PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated: July 9, 2026

Allure Designs Salon + Boutique ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website at www.alluredesigns.net (the "Site"), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. This Policy applies only to information collected through the Site.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Information you give us. When you fill out a form on the Site, such as our contact form, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, and any message you send us. We use this information to respond to you.

Booking and purchases. When you book an appointment or buy a product through the links on our Site, you are taken to our booking and retail provider, Phorest. Any payment or account information you enter there is collected and handled by Phorest under Phorest's own privacy policy, not ours.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, when you visit the Site we automatically collect certain technical information through cookies and similar technologies. This may include your device and browser type, your IP address, the pages you view, how you arrived at the Site, and how you move through and interact with the pages. This information is collected in aggregate to help us understand and improve how the Site is used.

COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

We use cookies (small text files stored by your browser) and similar technologies for two purposes:

- Necessary cookies set by our website platform, Squarespace, to keep the Site working, secure, and functional.

- Analytics cookies that help us understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site works.

ANALYTICS AND SESSION ANALYTICS

To understand how our Site is used and to improve it, we use two analytics services:

- Google Analytics, which collects standard website usage data such as pages viewed, time on site, and general location. You can learn more in Google's Privacy Policy, and you can opt out across all sites using Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

- Microsoft Clarity, which helps us see how visitors interact with our pages. Clarity produces heatmaps and may capture session recordings of on-page activity such as clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement, so we can find and fix usability problems. Clarity automatically masks text and information entered into forms, so the content you type is not captured in these recordings. You can learn more in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

We use this information only to operate and improve our Site. We do not use it to build advertising profiles, and we do not run third-party targeted advertising through this Site.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information we collect to:

- Respond to your questions and requests.

- Provide and improve our Site and our services.

- Keep the Site secure and prevent misuse.

- Send you information you have asked for, such as replies to your inquiry.

HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these limited situations:

- Service providers who run parts of our Site and business for us, such as Squarespace (website hosting), Google (analytics), Microsoft (analytics), and Phorest (booking and payments). They may only use the information to perform services for us.

- Legal reasons, if we are required to by law or need to protect our rights, our customers, or the security of the Site.

- Business transfer, if our business is sold or merged, in which case information may transfer to the new owner.

DATA RETENTION

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by law, and then delete it.

SECURITY

We use reasonable measures to protect the information we collect. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

YOUR PRIVACY CHOICES

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of certain uses. To make a request, contact us using the details below and we will respond as required by applicable law. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.

DO NOT TRACK

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common standard for how sites should respond, so our Site does not currently respond to these signals.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version here and change the effective date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Policy.
